The THES World University Ranking was released late last year by the Times Higher Education Supplement. It attempts to provide a common scheme on which the best universities worldwide may be identified. Number one on this scorecard was Harvard University, followed by a three-way tie for second place involving Cambridge, Oxford, and Yale. The U.S. Top Tier schools are well represented in the global top 20, with only Brown and Dartmouth failing to rank in that elite group.
This is the first university rating system discussed in detail by Top Tier Insider. Click on the the Rankings tab above to see how your favorite global university fared in this widely read review.
