The 2007 annual report of the National Merit Scholarship Corporation has been released and it lists the top schools attracting Merit Scholars nationally. Harvard ranks first immediately followed by Yale, Princeton, and Stanford. The Top Tier schools dominate the rankings, with MIT, Duke, and Rice joining them in the top ten. The University of Michigan is the top ranked public school coming in 12th.
